As the demand for power density increases, efficiency, thermal management and space constraints are now the primary constraints of DC/DC designs. Vishay offers low profile PowerPAK® SO-8DC MOSFETs double-side cooling MOSFETs. The MOSFETs have enlarged top-side cooling area for improved thermal performance. The products deliver high temperature operation up to +175 °C and combine low on-resistance with low gate and output charge for efficient switching.
